News Brief: REV AVID visits Pepperdine and Channel Islands universities

The Redlands East Valley High School AVID program went on a field trip to California State University Channel Islands and Pepperdine University on Friday, March 8.

CSU Channel Islands is secluded from the city and the campus is very green. The campus is not that big but students viewed it is nonetheless extraordinary. The food served comes from different islands and students found it extremely good.

Pepperdine University is not very large either. However, it is extremely close to the ocean and is very windy during this time of the year. The university is on a hill so there are many stairs but overall. Pepperdine is known forits breathtaking views once you reach the top.
