Mauricio Pliego is a 16 year old sophomore at Redlands East Valley and is the News editor for Ethic and La Plaza Publications. Pliego joined digital journalism because he was intrigued by the idea of writing and being able to give a platform for his voice. He hopes that when he grows older, he will be an English teacher or an immigration lawyer, and Strives to one day become a student at NYU or Berkeley. In his free time, Pliego enjoys photography, which has been an interest of his for many years now.
