Isaac Mejia is a 17-year-old junior at Redlands East Valley High School. Mejia is the Highlights editor for La Plaza and wants to help out and make his voice heard. Outside of La Plaza, Mejia likes to play the piano and is very passionate about his religion. He likes to go around his church during his free time and believes it gives his life meaning. Mejia hopes to make it to medical school with his dream career being within the medical field. He likes all kinds of music from country to rap and owns a small dog, a Shih Tzu, named Charger. Mejia appreciates his mother who has always gotten things done on her own and also appreciates people who constantly have a positive attitude.
