Election day is coming up, and the Elections Division is looking for students to work as clerks on Primary Election Day. Students will be paid $120 for Election Day and for two hours of training. Bilingual workers will be paid $10 extra for their services.
To be eligible, a high school student must meet the following requirements: they must be at least 16 years of age and in good academic standing, be able to read and write English, be able to work on Election Day from 6 a.m. until approximately 9:30 p.m., attend a mandatory 2-hour training session and have reliable transportation to the polling place.
The mandatory training will be at Redlands East Valley on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020 from 3 to 5:00 p.m. in the upstairs conference room and the Presidential Primary vote will be on Tuesday, Mar. 3, 2020.
