News Brief: A night at the Crystal Gala does not need the evil stepmother’s approval

Cinderella may have disobeyed her evil stepmother to get to the prince’s ball, but those who attend Redlands East Valley High School do not need her approval to attend prom. Prom is a magical night that upperclassmen and any of their underclassmen guests can attend as long as they purchase a ticket at the Finance Office.

This year, the event will take place on Sat. April 13, 2019 at The Vue at Indian Wells Resort. Early bird tickets were $95 with an ASB sticker and $100 without, but there are still future ticket sales after spring break. From the first of April to the fifth, regular sale tickets are $100 with ASB and $105 without, and from the eighth to the eleventh, late tickets can be purchased for $105 with ASB and $110 without.

These tickets include a formal dinner as well. Make sure to buy them before it is too late. Cinderella had a fairy godmother to grant her wishes, but regular students have to buy a ticket themselves.
