Manalisco, Jalisco, Mexico is a very colorful and crowded place. One could easily drive fifteen to thirty minutes to reach another town. There is a different church in every one of these towns.

In Figures one through four and nine to ten, that is the church near Yahualica, Jalisco. It’s considered the church that harbors the original cross and is in the process of creating paintings that depict the story of how it was found.

Figure five is in the town square of Yahualica, Jalisco and it is gambling machines that can be played by anyone, even children.

Figure six is the church in Manalisco that celebrates the Saint. It’s decorated for the span of seven days as that is how long the festival lasts.

Lastly, Figure seven and eight show the church in Yahualica’s town square. The church is very spacious and contains many statues and replicas of Catholic figures.
