The Chinese zodiac is based on a 12-year cycle, with an animal to represent one year in the cycle. These signs in order are: rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, chicken, dog and pig. There has been a relationship between humans and the 12 zodiac animals. It is believed that the years represented by the animals affect the personality of each person. Read the following signs to get to know your destined personality based on the Chinese calendar.

Rat 🐀 (鼠): 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020

– If you were born during these years, your zodiac animal is a rat. You are known for being clever and extremely enchanting. Like a rat, you are ambitious and can easily adapt to your surroundings, but you can also be selfish at times to accomplish your goals. With outsiders, you get mad easily as a result of your cleverness and temperament. Nevertheless, with your family and friends, you are a loyal protector.

Ox 🐂 (牛): 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021

– If you were born during these years, your zodiac animal is an ox. You are known for being strong and a hard worker. Like an ox, you are a careful planner, and when you have to do something, you don’t stop until the job is done.
