Lionel Messi, also known as Leo Messi, is the best soccer player in the world.

An Argentinian soccer midfielder who was born in Rosario on Jun 24, 1987, he has set forth his career in Spain’s F. C. Barcelona first division and is currently the captain of Argentina’s national team.

Considered the best soccer player in the world frequently, and one of the best of all times, he is the first who has won the Golden Ball Award five times, one Golden Ball Award and four FIFA Golden Ball Awards, which have been won consecutively. Along with receiving five Golden Boot awards with Barcelone, Messi has won 33 awards, including nine from “La Liga”, four from UEFA and six from “Copa del Rey.”

A prolific goalscorer, Messi currently holds the records for most goals scored in one season and one calendar year, maximum goal scorer for Spain’s Super Cup and Europe’s Super Cup and non-European player with the most goals in the UEFA. He is also the highest goal scorer in F.C. Barcelona and Spain’s national team. Messi is one of the soccer players who has the most assistances in official teams on record.

Messi has the record for the most goals on record in the league 404, and 26 of these are against Real Madrid. He has the most hat-tricks in the UEFA Champions LEAGUE, eight, and a total of 670 goals within both the club and the national teams.
